Many of you know him from the wrestling ring, but whether he’s delivering a total smackdown or instructing a DDP Yoga course, Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) is a prime example of transforming and chasing your passions. Now as the Founder and CEO of DDPY (Diamond Dallas Page Yoga), Diamond continues who help others achieve their true potential and rebound from life’s blows.

Having dreamed of being a wrestler and then beginning at the age of 35, what is the biggest lesson you learned?

“You have to be patient and put the work in. You gotta believe in yourself. One of the things I do most for people are cameos and while some ask for birthday wishes, most ask for motivation. They want to be motivated because they know that I have an infectious personality and can get them to feel motivated. What I explain to them is that it has nothing to do with motivation but everything to do with discipline. It’s a truest form of self love.”

“I was tell people, don’t listen to a word I have to say about it, just go check out the DDPY Facebook page. There’s no judgment and it’s a safe zone. So many people come there looking for hope, they put the work in, and they not only find the hope but they end up inspiring others . . .

. . . What I’m dealing with is mental and physical wellness. Because I explain to people you can either take care of your wellness or you’ll be forced to take care of your illness.“
